We welcome applications from Australian, New Zealand and International candidates looking for dental jobs in Australia.  If your qualifications are not from an Australian or New Zealand University, you will need to undergo a qualification assessment from the Australian Dental Council (ADC) website. This assessment is a mandatory requirement before you can apply for work in Australia.

UK trained dentists who have trained in the UK (and not just registered in the UK), and Canadian graduates from 2010 onward with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), are eligible to register to practise in Australia without sitting the ADC exams. The board only needs to be contacted if you are seeking to migrate to Australia. If you are looking for short-term employment, applications can be made directly to the dental board in the State where you are seeking employment. Thereafter, it is at the discretion of the state dental board to accept qualifications and current registration.
